The Jason Floyd Golf Academy recently held its highly anticipated graduation ceremony on Friday 16 June 2023, marking the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and exceptional golf performance. The event was a true celebration of the students’ achievements, as they completed the Triple A Future, Junior Access, Triple A Junior, and Triple A Elite programmes. With remarkable success in both physical and golfing technique and performance, this year’s graduates set new standards of excellence.
Honouring Outstanding Accomplishments
During the graduation ceremony, special awards were presented to students who demonstrated exceptional skills and dedication throughout the year. One of the most significant additions this year was the introduction of the Golf & Education award, in association with Sotogrande International School. This prestigious accolade recognised students who excelled not only in their golfing endeavours but also in their academic pursuits. The award was presented by Chris French, Head of Elite Sports at Sotogrande International School, Jason Floyd, the founder of the Jason Floyd Golf Academy, and Lorne Burns, the Student Liaison Manager at JFGA.

Recognising Outstanding Performance
In addition to the special awards, students were also acknowledged for their outstanding achievements in various categories. The “Student of the Term” awards honoured exceptional students in both physical and technical aspects. The following students were recognised for their exceptional efforts and were presented their awards by Oli Williams, Head of KinetiX Strength & Conditioning and Matthew Parry, Academy Director at the Jason Floyd Golf Academy:

Celebrating Success: The Academy Order of Merit
The ceremony also highlighted the top performers in the Academy Order of Merit, a cumulative ranking system that tracks the students’ progress and achievements over the previous year. The winners of this prestigious award were:
- 3rd place: Will Sherman, with a total of 46,475 points, received a JFGA gift bag as a token of recognition.
- 2nd place: Francisco Assis, with a total score of 48,499, was awarded a pair of Footjoy golf shoes to commemorate his remarkable performance.
- 1st place: Joel Bracegridle claimed the top spot with a total of 48,855 points, earning a well-deserved Titleist Wedge as a testament to his outstanding accomplishments.
These talented individuals demonstrated exceptional skill, consistency, and determination throughout their golfing journeys, truly embodying the spirit of the Jason Floyd Golf Academy.
