If the answer is YES, he/she could enjoy playing golf in one of the Golf Summer Camps in the Jason Floyd Golf Academy this June and July.
The Junior Golf Summer Camps offered by the Jason Floyd Golf Academy are aimed at boys and girls between the ages of 12- 18 years old. The summer camp programmes run for a duration of 2 weeks and comprises a personalized Performance Programme conducted by our instructors and golf professionals.
The Golf Academy is located in Valle Romano Golf Club in Estepona, on the Costa del Sol; 1 hour drive from Malaga airport and only half an hour from Gibraltar.
Junior golf campers will be boarding in San Roque Campus which is the boarding house of Sotogrande International School.
The boarding house provides a safe, healthy and friendly environment for the campers with a fun activity and excursions programme for the evenings and weekends planned. The boarding house is located right next to the prestigious San Roque Golf Club (Cadiz) which has been hosting a series of European Tour events.
So, what does the training and summer camps consist of?
The Junior Golf Summer Camp is a 2 week programme where the golfers receive high level golf training and also have the opportunity to play some of the best golf courses on the Costa del Sol and Sotogrande such as Almenara, San Roque Club, Valle Romano, La Cañada and a final tournament in La Reserva.
Thanks to our agreement with one of the best international schools, Sotogrande International School, the campers have the option to improve their English and Spanish skills in specialists summer language programmes conducted by teachers from Sotogrande International School.
On top of golf training, and language acquisition the children also have the chance to participate in day trips and excursions to different attractions and beaches in the provinces of Cadiz and Malaga.
The golf summer camp is open for young boys and girls of all levels and ages. To participate in the Jason Floyd Golf Academy Summer Camps we only have a few requirements: To have the desire to learn and play golf, wanting to meet friends from many different countries and nationalities and be prepared to experience an unforgettable adventure during your summer holidays.
For older, mature players with low handicaps we offer specialized Elite Player Training Camps for students between 14- 18 years of age. The players will practise and play golf in the morning and go to their Performance Programme training every afternoon. The Elite Player Training Programme is also totally flexible in duration. Players can join us for 1 week or multi weekly camps. The participants of the Elite Player Training camp have the flexibility to board in San Roque Campus or we arrange accommodation for them in the aparthotel of the ONA hotel group in Estepona, in the heart of the Valle Romano Golf course.
