The Triple A European Classic is underway and we have seen some impressive scores in round one on The San Roque Club, Old Course.

French’s Enzo Desgranges fired a stunning round of 69 to lead after Day 1 and hit 16 out of 18 green in regulation.

Hot of his heels 3 players are sharing the second place and will be up to the challenge of finishing leader of the competition after Day 2.

In the girls’ category, the leader after day one was Niamh O’Grady scoring 71 and being the only player shooting under part.

After sharing an interview with our team this morning, Niamh expressed her excitement on the 5th hole yesterday after shooting her first hole in one.

On Day 2 of the tournament, the weather condition, here in Costa del Sol, South of Spain, is slightly different with a strong wind picking up and this should increase the challenges of the competition.

We look forward to following the competitors and all members of the Jason Floyd Golf Academy as well as the results of Day 2 to see the outcome of the competition.
