Jason Floyd introduced the new Sky Sports Golf, Audi Performance Zone – which provides insight into the techniques of professional golfers in order to help viewers improve their own performance, live from the Sky Sports studio during the Valspar Championship (13-19 March 2023) (link).
The Audi Performance Zone is a revolutionary piece of golf technology that utilises some of the same state-of-the-art technologies at the Jason Floyd Golf Academy to analyse golfers biomechanics and analysis of ground reaction forces through Smart2Move and Zen Stage which features the most advanced indoor playing golf surfaces.
Based on scientific research, viewers were able to see live analysis during the 2023 Valspar Championship and Jason also provided a live lesson with Sarah Stirk using the Audi Performance Zone to help her with her golfing technique using the data captured through the Audi Performance Zone.
The Audi Performance Zone is a state-of-the-art training zone that combines cutting-edge technology and expert coaching to help golfers of all levels improve their game. The zone is equipped with a range of sensors providing valuable insights. These metrics were analysed and explained by Jason during the live coverage.
Data-driven coaching is a key ethos at the Jason Floyd Golf Academy through ‘We don’t guess, We measure’ and coaches use a range of state-of-the-art technologies and equipment to develop elite junior golfers.
Jason explained during the live coverage that the Audi Performance Zone provides golfers of all levels with objective data on their swing, allowing them to identify areas for improvement and track their progress over time. This, in turn, helps golfers to develop more consistent and repeatable golf performance, leading to better results on the course.
