The Jason Floyd Golf Academy, Tournament Travel Squad students took part in the Atlantic Youth Trophy during the 9-12 February at Penha Longa Resort and students from the Triple A Junior and Junior Access programmes excelled against the competition to win top positions in the final.
In the U18 categories, Leif Breede secured 2nd place of the Atlantic Youth Trophy. Leif narrowly missed the top position by only 2 shots which was won by Jacob Connor of England.
In the U18 Category of the Girls Competition, Camille Beuret took 3rd place in the competition with an impressive score of 240 total after three solid rounds on the course.
In the under 14 category of the Atlantic Youth Trophy, Maria Khristenko took the top prize with a lead of 4 shots ahead of second place winner, Laura Czastka. This is a fantastic achievement for Maria who also 2nd place in the Portuguese Intercollegiate Open earlier in the week.
