Triple A Junior students, Rijk Van Boxel and Maria Khristenko were awarded 2nd place in the Portuguese Intercollegiate Open U14 category yesterday at Penha Longa Resort.

The 72 Par course was venue to the Portuguese Intercollegiate Open which started on the 4th February and held its exciting Final yesterday.

In the boys U14 category, Rijk took 2nd place after three very strong rounds, scoring 80, 81 & 83 for a total score of 244.

In the girls category, Maria scored rounds of 86, 86 & 83 to take a 13 shot lead over Chiara Bauer-Mitterlehner who took third place in the competition.

Congratulations from all the team here at the JFGA and we wish the Jason Floyd Golf Academy Tournament Travel Squad (TTS) the best of luck in the upcoming Atlantic Youth Trophy that will also be held at Penha Longa Resort this week starting tomorrow the 9-11 of February.
