The Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters 2023 will be played at the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande, a spectacular European course designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones. The event will take place from 19 to 22 of October and offers the competitors a prize pool of $3.25 million. The Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters has been part of the European Tour’s Race to Dubai schedule since 2010 and gathers some of the top players in the world.

Last year, students from Jason Floyd Golf Academy took part in an academy tour excursion to Real Club Valderrama, where they had an opportunity to watch the 2022 DP World Tour – Estella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters. Students saw top players like Matt Fitzpatrick, Min Woo Lee and Ryan Fox. Last year, Adrián Otaegui won on home soil, winning his 4th DP World Tour event.

The Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters 2023 will be held at the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande this year. Valderrama will no longer host the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters as Valderrama recently signed a five-year contract with LIV Golf. Real Club de Golf Sotogrande was opened in 1964 and is a par of 72, and measures 6.492 metres. It is a fascinating course for players of any level, which retains all the natural beauty of the land on which it was built, only 150 metres from the Mediterranean.

JFGA students and competitors playing during the Triple A European Invitational 2023 at Real Club de Golf Sotogrande.

Earlier this year, our students participated in the 2023 Triple A European Invitational tournament at Real Club de Golf Sotogrande. The Triple A World Junior Golf Series tournament offers an excellent opportunity for junior golfers to play in World Amateur Ranked Events on exceptional courses in the South of Spain.

This week, students from JFGA will be able to watch and analyse professional players’ compete at this prestigious course. This extraordinary learning experience will help the JFGA students prepare for the Triple A European Invitational from the 31 of January to the 2 of February 2024.

Speaking about the excursion, Daniel Radcliffe, Assistant Academy Director at the Jason Floyd Golf Academy said, “For the Andalusian Masters to be hosted at Réal Club de Golf Sotogrande is a fantastic opportunity for our students to witness the world’s best players at a golf course which has hosted the Triple A World Junior Golf Series, European Invitational. In order to play at the highest level, you require many qualities technically, physically and mentally. To have the opportunity to see these elite players, implement their skills in action is one of many ways we help our students learn the value of how hard work and discipline can help them achieve their aspirations.”

JFGA students and the team enjoyed the experience at Real Club Valderrama, watching the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters in 2022.

Check back later this week for our 2023 Estrella Damm blog, we’ll be posting some pictures from the trip and learning about some of the highlights from our students. For the most recent information from the Jason Floyd Golf Academy, follow us on Instagram, facebook or TikTok.
