Despite sharing the name “Tiger” with the legendary Tiger Woods, Christensen is determined to forge his path and make a name for himself in the golfing world. Recognising the significance of his namesake’s contributions to the sport, he remains focused on his journey, driven by his passion for golf and a desire to create his own legacy.

Tiger’s Remarkable Journey

Hailing from Hamburg, a city renowned for producing European Cup winners, Tiger Christensen initially split his time between football and golf during his childhood. However, his heart was set on golf from the age of 10, and since then, he has rapidly ascended through the ranks of amateur golf. Through the Triple A golf and education programme at the Jason Floyd Golf Academy, where Tiger received expert instruction from the team, Tiger secured a DI scholarship to Oklahoma State before transferring to Arizona University. With four trophies already to his name on the amateur circuit, Tiger’s determination and hard work have not gone unnoticed.

Qualifying Triumph

In an impressive display of skill, Tiger emerged triumphant from the star-studded Final Qualifying field at West Lancashire, besting renowned players like Sergio Garcia and Graeme McDowell. His rounds of 68 and 67 secured his coveted spot at The Open Championship, setting the stage for what promises to be a memorable performance.
