Yesterday saw students from the Jason Floyd Golf Academy attend the 2022 Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters at Valderrama Golf Club.
Triple A Elite student’s joined the team in the morning and followed top players such as defending 2021 champion, Matt Fitzpatrick and other top players such as Min Woo Lee and Ryan Fox.
In the afternoon, Junior students on the Triple A Junior and Junior Access programmes got the opportunity to follow players such as former Triple A World Series participant, Angel Hidalgo, who as of time of writing, is currently in first position at 2022 Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters and students even had the opportunity to appear live on Sky Golf during the Masters event.
Attending the event has been an amazing opportunity for students on all of the academy programmes and a great learning experience for them. Students were tasked with making notes on the event by the coaching team at the Jason Floyd Golf Academy. This will be used in a follow-up session with students where they will have the opportunity to learn more about professional golfing events such as the 2022 Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters.
On Sunday the coaching team will be giving some lucky students the opportunity to attend the Sunday final of the 2022 Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters. We’ll be sharing more photos from Sunday next week so make sure to check back!
