The second day of the Triple A European Classic has come to a close and the leader board has changed after witnessing another full day of excitement. Players in the top flights will be under pressure on the final day because there is only one shot separating each of the leaders in both categories!

Adam Benick’s retirement after the front nine due to injury caused the leader in the boy’s division to change. Cain Morgan was able to take the lead as a result, and after shooting +3, he was able to hold onto his score for the rest of the day. Leif Breede, a student at the Jason Floyd Golf Academy, persevered on day two, shooting 75 to place himself in second place heading into the final day. Mikke Jarvelin trails behind and has just one shot. It’s all up for grabs.

The girls will be starting day 3 a little earlier than they have this week, with the first tee of time being 8:10. The girl’s category is surely going to be another exciting day of golf. Only one shot separates the topflight group into the final round! Juliette is sat in first position after Day 2 with Vinkler Barbora follows behind in second. Jason Floyd Golf Academy student Hannah Guerin will be pushing the leaders closely behind as she starts the day tomorrow in third.

The top three players’ positions on the leader board are duplicated in both categories. The top three finishers in the boy’s category all shot 147, 148, and 149, while the top three finishers in the girl’s category also shot 147, 148, and 149.

Wishing all the participants good luck going into the final round of the Triple A European Classic where one boy and girl will take the title of U21 European Classic winner, earning them WAGR status.
