The conclusion to the Triple A World Junior Golf Series – the Triple A European Final is underway and on the first day we have seen some impressive scores in round one on The San Roque Club, Old Course.

Round 1 Summary

This year’s final got off to an exciting start, in the boys category we seen 3 players shooting a remarkable 71 putting Roman Pivoda, Kezaia Dimosi and Richard Teder all tied for first place. Close behind we have Leif Breede, Max Martin and Ruut Kangust all shooting level par leaving them all 1 shot behind the leaders. This will certainly put the pressure on in day 2.

Meanwhile, Siria Ballini and Felicitas Eva Kampshoff are at the top of the girls’ leaderboard, also shooting an impressive 71. In third place Cristina Albertazzi sits comfortably having shot 76.

Yesterday provide to be an exciting day for Felicitas Eva Kampshoff as she scored her first hole-in-one on the 16th hole of the Old Course. An amazing first day for this talented junior golfer.

As the tournament continues, it is quickly becoming clear that this year’s final is going to be a fierce challenge for the Champion’s title. The top golfers in the boys and girls categories are all playing at an incredibly high level, each one showing remarkable skill, precision and playing with confidence.

We look forward to going into the second day as it’s still anyone’s game. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the tournament has in store.

Not only will one of the participants from the boys and girls categories be crowned champion but we will also be announcing the winner of the 2022-2024 Order of Merit, Triple A World Junior Golf Series winner.
